Some tree damage is reported in Junction City following the Sunday evening thunderstorm. Authorities indicate it primarily involved tree branches down.
Riley County police also reported some tree branches were down as well.
The thunderstorm rumbled through the area about 9:30 p.m. bringing with it strong winds and rain. The storm cell began in southern Nebraska and north central Kansas and swept south during the evening.
