POTTAWATOMIE CO., Kan. (WIBW) - Pottawatomie County will no longer send out a Monday, Wednesday and Friday COVID-19 community update.
The Pottawatomie County Health Department says it has two COVID-19 related deaths and seven new cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday, May 26. It also said it has three new recoveries.
“The increase in the number of deaths is due to a reconciliation of cases with KDHE and not two new deaths,” said Pottawatomie Co. Health Officer Liz Parthemer.
After talking with Parthemer, the County said it will no longer send out Monday, Wednesday and Friday COVID-19 community updates. Instead, it said it will only send an update out on Wednesdays.
