MANHATTAN, KS – Kayla Simon has been named the principal of Ogden Elementary School. She currently serves as a 5th grade teacher at Ogden Elementary Schools at Manhattan-Ogden USD 383. She has served in that position since 2016. Kayla has served in several leadership roles since working at Ogden Elementary School, including Professional Development Facilitator, Communications Lead, Cooperating Teacher, and Diversity Book Study.
Simon has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Kansas State University and a B.S. in Bible Leadership from Manhattan Christian College earned in 2016. She also has an M.S. in Educational Leadership earned in 2020 from Kansas State University and an endorsement in English Speakers of Other Languages.
