RILEY CO. - On Monday morning, firefighters from the Riley County Fire District #1 were called out to a structure fire in northern Riley County.

When crews arrived on scene they found an abandoned structure on fire.

Volunteer firefighters quickly responded to the scene, and the fire did not threaten any other structures.

No injuries have been reported with this fire.

Riley County Fire District #1 is continuously recruiting more volunteers to join the RCFD #1 team as firefighters.
