KDHE updated their travel list last Wednesday, October 21, 2020, and will review again sometime next week.  North Dakota, due to a significant increase in cases, has been added to the quarantine list; as has the country of Andorra.  Do you wonder how KDHE determines which states to add to the quarantine list?  According their travel page on the COVID information, the KDHE uses a formula to evaluate new cases in states over a 14-day period, then adjusts for population size obtain the case rate per 100,000 population.  This number is then compared to the rate in Kansas.  If the rate is approximately 3 x that of Kansas or higher, the state3 is added to the list.

Due to the weather and staff shortages, the Wamego flu clinic originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 21st, and rescheduled for this Wednesday, October 28th, it is necessary to postpone the flu clinic once more, to Wednesday, November 4th, 3:30 p.m. -6:30 p.m. other details to be announced soon. Please bring your insurance card.
