Mother Nature strafed the entire region Monday. She brought her entire arsenal of drenching rain, straight line winds, an occasional tornado, hail and some flooding.
No injuries were reported.
Geary County Emergency Manager Garry Berges estimated 60-70 mph winds in the Clarks Creek - Burley Hill areas of the county. There were reports of about 80 mph winds farther northeast in neighboring counies.
One tornado was reported approximately two miles norh of Wakefield. There were others in Clay and Cloud counties.
Flash flooding occurred in some spots and there were downed tree limbs.
Berges estimated about three and a half to four inches of rain fell between combined storms early Monday morning and Monday evening.
