The City of Manhattan has announced that Griffith Drive will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday ( June 15 ) as part of the Safe Routes to School project install a pedestrian crossing and refuge median for Northview Elementary School.
Work is expected to be completed within 7 - 14 days, depending on weather. Local traffic will still have access, but through traffic will not be allowed.
