Pottawatomie County health officials are slowing the COVID-19 reopening in the county. No additional restrictions were added and the mass gathering limit still expanded to 100 people at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The changes from an initial order that was submitted and approved last week include the new order lasting at least through June 19th. There is also the possibility of another health order when this one expires before Pottawatomie County goes to the full phase out portion of reopening.
So far there have been 33 positive COVID-19 cases in Pottawatomie County since the pandemic began. A total of 26 people have recovered, three are active and four are probable cases. Ten tests are pending.
