Kansas State University has moved to phase 3 of the university's reopening plan until at least June 22.

According to a K-State Today release under phase 3 gatherings of up to 45 people are allowed if individuals maintain social distancing and proper hygiene such as frequent hand-washing and covering coughs and sneezes. Employees are asked to regularly clean high-touch surfaces, avoid shaking hands and complete the EHS Slow the Spread training. Employees are encouraged to wear face masks when social distancing is not possible and continue working remotely as much as possible.

All employees who feel sick should follow public health official's guidance. Those who have tested positive for COVID-19 must isolate for at least 10 days from the start of symptoms or until free from fever for 72 hours — whichever is longer — along with improvement in other symptoms. Anyone who is still waiting for test results must remain isolated. Anyone who has close contact with confirmed cases of COVID-19 must remain in quarantine for 14 days.
