WABAUSEE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Saturday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Toyota Camry driven by Jeffrey Blake Howell, 51, Topeka, was northbound on Kansas 99 just north of Homestead Road.
The driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed, according to witnesses.
The car entered the east ditch and overturned.
EMS transported Howell to a hospital in Topeka. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
