MANHATTAN —Authorities are investigating an alleged arson at an apartment complex in Manhattan.
Just before 1:30p.m. Wednesday, police filed a report for arson, according to the RCPD activity report.
Officers listed a known male as the suspect when a fire was reported on stairs in an apartment building.
The fire was extinguished prior to emergency crews arriving on scene. This is a joint investigation with the Manhattan Fire Department. Damage is estimated at $500.
Police released no additional information.
