There may be some increased COVID-19 testing capacity for Riley County on the way. Health Officer Julie Gibbs indicated on Wednesday she is hopeful more tests can be done. "We know that we've been testing at a pretty low rate right now."
Gibbs added is hopeful with new criteria from the Kansas Department of Health & Environment and with new testing supplies they can expand the number of tests.
There are currently 34 confirmed COVID-19 tests in Riley County.
