DONIPHAN COUNTY— One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Monday in Doniphan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Toyota Sienna driven by Charles Leonard Wandle, 78, Blue Rapids, was westbound on U.S. 36 at the Kansas 120.
The Toyota struck a 2005 Ford F250 driven by Charles William Libel, 81, Severance, that had attempted a U-Turn.
EMS transported Libel to the Hiawatha Hospital. KHP did not indicate if Wandle was transported for treatment. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
