There is a plea to support KSU students

Posted Apr 17, 2020 7:21 PM

Everyone can agree that we are in unprecedented times. For the last couple of weeks our lives have looked dfferent and we have faced challenges we never imagined. Many things remain uncertain as Kansas State University administration navigates these unchartered waters. The decision was made for classes to be moved online for the remainder of the semester, and commencement has been cancelled for the class of 2020. Students' lives were turned upside down as many experienced drastic and immediate changes to housing and loss of employment. Everyone is feeling the effect of the COVID-19 crisis and we are all wondering what the future will hold.

Although we are unable to make many promises of the future, there is one thing to be certain of, if there is a group of people who can come together in a time of tragedy and uncertainty, and make great things happen, it's K-State alumni and friends.

The resilience and loyalty of K-Staters should never be doubted or underestimated. We rise to challenges faced before us and we do it, as we do everything, as a family.

Will you join us in supporting K-State students in this time of extreme and immediate need by making a gift to the K-State Strong Emergency Response Fund? If you'd prefer your gift go to the Dean's Excellence Fund, please click here. We need your support now more than ever to make #KStateStrong!

We hope this message finds you safe and healthy! Let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
