The Geary County Health Department said Thursday that they have been notified of the county's fifth and sixth positive COVID-19 cases. They are direct contacts of the third identified case in the county.
The new patients remain quarantined within their residence and are maintaining daily contact with the Health Department.
Their recent travel to locations other than a medical facility include Dillons gas station on Claflin Road and at Nichols Chiropractic to pick up an item in Manhattan on March 31st at about 9:30 a.m. They also visited the Walgreens Pharmacy on Anderson Avenue in Manhattan on April 1st and 2nd with the visit on the first at approximately 5:15 to 5:40 p.m. and on the second 5:35 to 6:15 p.m.
If you were at those locations during those time frames monitor yourself for symptoms and call your health care provider or COVID-19 hotline if symptoms arise.
