4-H Camp at Rock Springs Ranch cancelled

Rock Springs officials released information on their web site on Thursday saying that Kansas 4-H members are and remain our top priority. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to work its way across our nation, we are monitoring developments. In agreement with K-State Research and Extension, we have made the decision to cancel 4-H Camp this summer. This decision was not made lightly, but the safety and health of the youth we serve is our highest priority.

The cancellation of camp significantly impacts the Kansas 4-H Foundation and Rock Springs Ranch. We are evaluating operations beyond June 2020 and the best options for moving forward to Camp 2021. Additionally, we are adjusting our focus to fundraise for the immediate needs of Kansas 4-H and Rock Springs Ranch.

Throughout our history, the 4-H family perseveres and unites to make the best better. Now more than ever, 4-H fulfills the essential needs of youth with creative and innovative delivery of our core values: fostering a sense of belonging, striving toward mastery, facilitating generosity, and experiencing independence.

Our commitment to you is that we will work diligently to provide an unforgettable camp experience in 2021. Energetic camp leaders will have horses saddled, the pool sparkling, the spring ready to explore and the campfire burning!
