FAQ's

1. Does a child have to attend one of the schools listed to be eligible for a meal?

All feeding locations are open to any child ages 1-18 regardless of where they live, attend school or their normal free/reduced or full pay status. We will give any child that comes a meal but the child must be present. This is a federal requirement not a local or state decision.

2. Do we need volunteers?

While we appreciate the large interest in volunteering to help we are currently gathering our department staff to prepare and distribute the meals, if we find we need additional help we will certainly reach out!

3. Why are not all of the schools serving meals?

In order to qualify to be a feeding site during the closure a school must meet certain federal guidelines which are typically tied to free/reduced percentages and/or census data.

We will update if there are any changes. Please be patient with staff when picking up meals as we will do our best to get people in and out as quickly as possible.
