The Riley County Fire District is hosting a Biscuit and Gravy breakfast on March 7 at the Randolph VFW to recruit volunteers. The breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. with a fire presentation around 8:30 a.m.
Volunteers from the Fire District to discuss their roles and show some of the fire apparatus.
The public is welcome to attend.
Riley County rural firefighters work out of 15 fire stations that are strategically placed around the nearly 620 square miles of the county.
