RCPD: 28-year-old hospitalized after shooting

Manhattan — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital.

Just before 2a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the report of shots fired in the Southwest part of Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department Activity Report.

A 28-year-old man is being treated at Via Christi for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The suspect is known to the victim. There is no threat to the public.
