WAMEGO —Everyone is invited to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for StoryWalk which is a great new addition in Wamego!
A project of the Wamego Public Library in conjunction with many other community partners, StoryWalk involves a series of posts around the walking path at the Wamego Recreation Complex.
Each pedestal has a page of a storybook to read as children and families walk around the sidewalk.
The labor for this project was provided by our Wamego High School Peer Chamber group of 70 students who provided 233.5 hours of assistance to make it happen!
The Ribbon Cutting takes place at 3pm at the Wamego Recreation Complex located at 1001 Balderson Blvd.
