Teresa L. "Terri" Wright, 65, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas.
A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Johnson and Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Junction City Animal Shelter. Contributions can be mailed to 2424 N. Jackson Street Junction City, Kansas 66441.
Teresa was born February 19, 1959 in Stockton, California the daughter of Melvin and Florence (Calavan) Forwalder. Teresa worked for U.S.D. #475 as a custodian. She also worked for Cloud County Community College and Riley County as a custodian. Teresa was very artistic. She enjoyed painting, drawing and anything creative. She enjoyed spending a lot of time with her family especially her grandchildren. Teresa was very passionate about her two dogs Jasmine and Jagger. On December 31, 1993, she married Walter L. Wright in San Diego, California.
Survivors include her husband Walter of Junction City, Kansas; three sons, Tony Forwalder, Walter Wright and Trevor Wright; one daughter, Nina Foster; two sisters, Christine Huber and Patricia Forwalder; ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ellen Wright; two brothers, Rick Huber and Tim Forwalder; one grandson, Jody Foster, Jr.
