New advisories have been set for the coming week for Milford Lake by the Kansas Department of Health & Enironment. Warming daytime temperatures have elevated the algae advisory.
According to information released through the Corps of Engineers Zone C has been upgraded from a watch to warning status. That is the north end of the lake.
Zone B, the central portion of the reservoir, remains under a watch and Zone C, the southern end of the lake has been upgraded to a watch.
The lake elevation is 1145.82, which is 1.42 feet above conservation pool. The inflow is 271 cubic feet per second and the outflow is 25 cubic feet per second.
