Pottawatomie County officials have announced that COVID-19 vaccines are still available by appointment only. They will be reviewing their processes and determining if a different approach is feasible. They have encountered issues contacting some of the people on their list, and have been experiencing a number of no-shows at the clinics.
The Health Department is using a new scheduler on a trial basis. Limited options are available for people to sign up and schedule a vaccine directly. If the new system works as expected, and is a feasible alternative for the way things have been processed, the options will be expanded and citizens notified of updates.
