MANHATTAN — McCain Auditorium is cranking up the volume on Tuesday, Oct. 7, welcoming rock icon Melissa Etheridge and power duo Indigo Girls to the McCain Performance Series lineup for a night of folk-rock fun.Etheridge, a masterful singer-songwriter and guitarist, has topped charts with hit songs like “I'm The Only One” and “Come to My Window.” Amy Ray and Emily Saliers — together as Indigo Girls — have been taking the stage since the 1980s, known for their blending of Appalachian, pop and rock music.
Both legendary, Grammy Award-winning performers, their collaborative performances take folk-rock to new heights.In summer 2024, Etheridge and Indigo Girls duo teamed up for the “Yes We Are” tour, bringing soulful, electrifying folk-rock energy to stages across the U.S. and Canada.
McCain Auditorium will host one of the tour’s final stops, giving audiences a powerhouse show filled with classic hits and fan favorites brought to life.
