MANHATTAN - The third annual Aggieville Showdown returns to Manhattan this weekend.
On Friday, April 5th, the Cattle Show starts at the Riley County Fairgrounds at 7:30 pm with the Showmanship Competition.
On Saturday, April 6th, the morning starts with the Breeding Heifer Show at 9:30 am, followed immediately by the Market Beef Show.
The Aggieville Showdown culminates with the 'Grand Drive in the 'Ville,' where the top placing animals will be judged for the final time to determine the overall winners of both Market Beef and Breeding Heifer animals along with the Showmanship winners.
Prior to the Grand Drive, Moro Street in Aggieville will be closed with vendors set up around the show ring and stage. Live music, a fashion show and live press conference will all take place on the stage.
Live Music for the 2024 Aggieville Showdown will be Jake Jacobson, a rising star in country music.
