Mark Wayne Floberg, 69, of Junction City, passed away on September 19, 2023, peacefully at home. A visitation will take place at the Johnson Funeral Home on Monday September 25, 2023, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The service will take place Tuesday, September 26, 2023, 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow and he will be brought back home with his family.
Mark was born on January 20, 1954, to Mardell and Dorothy Floberg, Fargo, North Dakota. Growing up, baseball was his sport. He played throughout junior high, high school, and even continued into his adult years by playing on leagues in Junction City. Besides playing the sport, he also enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren take up the passion. He always loved his family over anything else. He showed this by including his family into his hobbies such as drag racing, hunting, and sports. He was a mentor, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene; one son, Justin of Milford, Kansas; two daughters, Jennifer (Terrance) of Burleson, Texas and Elizabeth of Junction City, Kansas; one step-daughter, Vanessa (Kyle) of Westmoreland, Kansas; two brothers, Mardy of Milford, Kansas and Mike of Berryton , Kansas; one sister, Debi of Houston, Texas; ten grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Brooke, Jayden, Jonathan, Arianna, Savannah, Lydia, Landyn, Libby and a gaggle of other family and friends. He is preceded by his mother and father.
