MANHATTAN - On Thursday, December 28th, just after 4:00 pm, officers from the Riley County Police Department were called to the 900 block of Humboldt Street, near downtown Manhattan on the report of stolen property.
When officers arrived they found a 59-year-old male and 61-year-old female were victims of theft of property.
The victims reported an unknown suspect broke into their detached garage, taking a Polaris UTV, lawn mower, a generator, a tool box, and other miscellaneous tools.
Police estimate the loss at approximately $30,000 for this reported theft.
