Around 9:20 pm Saturday evening, Manhattan Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire in Redbud Estates.
Manhattan Fire Deputy Chief Ryan Almes says residents returned home, found the fire and then called it in.
Initial reports stated there were possibly people inside the mobile home, fire crews did a thorough search of the structure and found no one inside.
Crews extinguished the fire within 10 minutes. A total of 15 firefighters responded on 6 fire apparatus.
Two occupants and one dog were able to escape prior to crews arrival.
Riley County EMS responded in case of injuries, none were reported.
Riley County Police Department are providing traffic control around the scene.
Loss is estimated at $35,000 to contents and $15,000 to the structure. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
