Kurylynn Michelle “Kury” Comer, 30, of Wamego, Kansas, passed away on Monday (April 22, 2024) in Wamego.

Born March 13, 1994 in Pueblo, Colorado, Kury was the daughter of Kay Lane and Tracy Reifschneider. For the last 11 years, Kury shared her life with her husband, Brad Riniker who survives at the home.

Kury was a 2012 graduate of Wamego High School.  She loved the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting,  camping, and her trips to Colorado to visit her grandparents cabin.  She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed listening to a variety of music.

Kury’s family was most important to her and she loved being a stay at home mom. Surviving is her husband, Brad; her children, Tessa Riniker, Jace Riniker and Gavin Pierce; her mother, Kay Gardner (Jeff) of Salina, KS; her father, Tracy Reifschneider (Kennetha) of Louisville, KS; her siblings, Darby Comer (Anna) of Mayetta, KS and William Reifschneider of  Miami, FL; a nephew, Jack Comer; Gavin’s adoptive parents, Jeffrey Pierce and Bonnie Bluhm; Maternal Grandparents, Terry and Patti Lane of Pueblo West, CO; Paternal Grandparents, Dale and Theresa Reifschneider of Inglewood, FL; Aunts & Uncles, David Lane (Cyndi), Meranda Reifschneider and Henry Reifschneider (Alisha); her father in law, Ray Riniker of Belvue, KS; her mother in law, Penny Riniker (Rob) of Alma; cousins, Jessica Eck (Chris) and Jaimie Garnett; and many friends, including very close friends, Michelle Hoffman, Katlyn Dawson & Ashley Derenne.

Kury was preceded in death by her Maternal Great Grandparents, Glynn & Maurine Lane; and Paternal Great Grandmother, Ida Benton.

Memorial services will be held Monday morning (May 6, 2024) at 11:00 at Cross Point Church in Wamego with Pastor Jol Klein officiating.

A memorial visitation will be Sunday evening (May 5, 2024) from 5:00 to 7:00 at Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego.
