SFC (RET) Edward "Ed" Walsh, 80, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at his home in Junction City, KS. A graveside service with military honors will take place 10 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will take place Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home. Ed was born December 12, 1941, in McKeesport, PA the son of Francis and Sarah (White) Walsh. Ed served in the United States Army until his retirement in 1984. After his retirement, he worked with several contracting companies at Fort Riley. Ed enjoyed his dog Penny. Survivors include three sons; John Walsh and his wife Crystal, Michael Walsh and his wife Elizabeth and James Walsh all of Junction City, KS; one brother, Tony Walsh of McKeesport, PA; six grandchildren, Tabitha, Sabrina, Robert, Addy, Emilia and Maria; nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers David and Francis; wife, Sun Walsh.&nbsp;&nbsp;
