The City of Manhattan received substantial tree damage from storms this week. City officials said Friday that Citywide efforts are being deployed to clear roadways, sidewalks, cemeteries, parks, and trails. Cleanup efforts will continue into the coming week.
City street/right-of-way tree debris will be the only debris removed by City staff.
Tree and shrub debris on private property is asked to be removed and disposed of by the property owners themselves.
Any mixed piles of private debris with public street tree debris will not be removed by the City.
