Health officials reported on Saturday that almost all of the new COVID-19 positives in Riley County are under the age of 35. Younger people are not immune to the disease and can have serious cases. Symptoms can range from mild to very severe, and sometimes can simply be headache and loss of taste and/or smell.

Please avoid close contact with people outside your household even if you are feeling fine. Avoid places, situations, and activities where social distancing is difficult to maintain. Wear a cloth mask when you are going to be around others
