There will be a Steven A. Cohen Military Clinic located at 1960 Kimball Ave., Suite 375 in Manhattan, beginning April 23. It will provide mental health assistance for veterans, service members and their families. The clinic will be one of 23 spread across 21 states.

The Lead Clinician, Jessica Manny-Flynn, served as the keynote speaker for the Military Affairs Council Breakfast in Junction City on Thursday.

She noted that the facility will serve active duty soldiers, discharged and reserves plus family members including children. Staff ranges from psychologists and psychiatrists to other mental health professionals. They can provide personalized therapy and resource connection.
