Jeffrey S. "Jeff" Koppenheffer

  Jeffrey S. "Jeff" Koppenheffer, 54, of Junction City, Kansas died on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Jeff will be cremated. A celebration of life service will be announced and held at a later date.

Jeff was born January 12, 1970, in Junction City, Kansas the son of Stephen and Sandra (Engstrom) Koppenheffer. Jeff graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1988. He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Economics. It was important for him to go to college for an education.

Jeff worked as a carpenter in Junction City for J & S Construction. He was known in the community for his extensive historical work at Fort Riley with carpentry and masonry. He enjoyed metal detecting, playing golf, mushroom hunting and playing pool where he won a first place competition at Kansas State University. He also enjoyed competitive skeet shooting and spending time with his family.

On January 9, 2008, he married Monique Lafitte in Junction City, Kansas. Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife Monique "Nikki" of Junction City, Kansas; two sons, Justin Ortego and Jacob Reeves both of Junction City, Kansas; one daughter, Shelby Reeves of Junction City, Kansas; his father, Stephen Koppenheffer of Junction City, Kansas; one twin brother, Roger Koppenheffer of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Laura Cornejo of Mount Airy, Maryland; one grandson, Elliott Reeves with another on the way. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
