The House of Ruth’s first Winter Coat Drive for Kids was a success, according to founder Linda Gibson.
The House of Ruth partnered with several area organizations to purchase and collect donations of new children’s winter coats for six weeks.



The group, including volunteers Dewonna Goodridge, Kimberly Knight, Mercy Goodridge, presented the coats to students at Sheridan Elementary School, Grandview Elementary School, Washington Elementary School and Westwood Elementary School in Junction City, as well as Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School in Manhattan.
The House of Ruth expressed gratitude to the Junction City and Manhattan communities, as well as all of the principals and the staff for allowing the group to donate coats to their kids.



The House of Ruth’s coat drive received support, coats, and monetary donations from:
