The House of Ruth’s&nbsp;first Winter Coat Drive for Kids&nbsp;was a success, according to&nbsp;founder&nbsp;Linda Gibson.&nbsp;

The House of Ruth&nbsp;partnered with&nbsp;several area organizations&nbsp;to&nbsp;purchase&nbsp;and&nbsp;collect&nbsp;donations of new children’s winter coats&nbsp;for six weeks.&nbsp;

The group, including&nbsp;volunteers&nbsp;Dewonna&nbsp;Goodridge, Kimberly Knight, Mercy Goodridge,&nbsp;presented the coats to students at&nbsp;Sheridan Elementary School,&nbsp;Grandview Elementary School,&nbsp;Washington Elementary School and Westwood Elementary School in Junction City, as well as Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School in Manhattan.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The House of Ruth expressed gratitude&nbsp;to&nbsp;the Junction City and Manhattan communities, as well as&nbsp;all of the principals and the staff&nbsp;for allowing the group&nbsp;to donate coats to their kids.&nbsp;&nbsp;
