RILEY COUNTY - Just before 6:00 pm on Saturday, April 6th, Riley County Police Department issued an 'Avoid the Area' alert for US HWY 77 north of Randolph due to blackout conditions in the area.

The <a href="https://littleapplepost.com/posts/86a1f2e5-ded5-4bce-91b4-a2f217ed1703">Axelton Hill Road fire</a> remains out of control north of Randolph and smoke from the fire has created extremely low visibility in the area.
