The City of Manhattan said that the next phase of the Anderson Avenue Water, Street, and Stormwater improvement project will close Anderson Avenue to through traffic between Connecticut Avenue and Canfield Drive from Monday, July 27 through Sunday, August 9.
Phase 2a paving activities will be occurring in the eastbound lanes between Timberlane Drive/College Heights Road and Oakdale Drive.Traffic Impact: No through traffic will be allowed. Please use the detour route on Claflin Road and continue to drive with extreme caution in the construction zone.
Timeline: Anderson Ave will be closed from Monday, July 27 through Sunday, August 9. It will reopen before the start of school on August 11.
