Manhattan, Kansas — May 14, 2026 — The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) announced the results of the 14th Annual Grow Green Match Day, held on April 22, 2026. Thanks to the generosity of donors across the community, this year’s event raised a total of $2,927,574.86 to support 102 participating nonprofit organizations serving the Manhattan area.

The event generated:

  1. $2,401,127.85 in donations
  2. $526,447.01 in matching funds

Grow Green Match Day is a community-wide giving event that helps local donations go further through matching funds provided by generous matching donors (Butler Family Community Foundation, Goldstein Community Foundation, Lincoln & Dorothy Deihl Fund, Marvin Robinson Trust, 1998 Jack Goldstein Charitable Trust, Jack Goldstein Charitable Fund, and the Howe Family Foundation). Gifts made during the event directly support participating nonprofit funds and the programs, services, and initiatives they provide throughout the community.

This year’s theme, “Built By Community,” reflected the collective effort behind the event and the shared commitment to supporting local nonprofits.

Throughout the day, donors gave online, by mail, and in person at the Colony Square Atrium, where community members gathered to connect with nonprofits and celebrate local impact.
