The City of Manhattan has announced that City offices will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 in observance of Thanksgiving. They will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, December 2.
Flint Hills Discovery Center also will be closed Thursday, November 28, but will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29. From 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday. FHDC atrium, balconies, restrooms, and the gift store will be open for the Manhattan Festival of Lights at Blue Earth Plaza tree lighting event.
The Ice Rink will be closed Thursday, November 28, but is open from 12-5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27. They will reopen on Friday, November 29 for regular weekend hours.
Sunset Zoo will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29. They will reopen on Saturday, November 30.
