The Freedom Parade was a signature event for the Fourth of July celebration in Junction City. US Army, law enforcecment and first responders, the JCHS Marching Band, floats, businesses and political candidates were all participants on the route that went down Eisenhower and 6th Street.
Part way through the parade wind and rain arrived but the event continued.

This July 4th marked the 250th birthday of the United States of America.
