Tuttle Creek Lake Corp of Engineers officials have issued a reminder via social media to stay safe on the water this holiday weekend.
1) Always wear a lifejacket
2) Don't drink and boat- Alcohol and boats don't mix
3) Make sure your boat is equipped with all the required safety equipment and in good working order
4) Know the rules and regulations for the body of water you are boating on.
5) Check the weather forecast before heading out
6) Tell someone where you are going and when you should be back
