Pharmacy services will be temporarily impacted at Fort Riley

Irwin Army Community Hospital, Fort Riley, is in the midst of training all clinical and ancillary staff members in the operation of a new electronic health record system. Officials tell us the time needed to complete training will translate into a reduction of services or an increase of wait times.

Colonel Hyun Kang provided about the pharmacies at the PX and Farrelly Health Clinic which will be closed this week, Mar. 8th - 12th. "But we will have our main outpatient pharmacy open. " That pharmacy at the hospital will be open but there might be some increased wait times.

The training for the new MHS Genesis system transition will allow for records to be integrated on April 24th.  It will involve both medical and dental records.
