RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a member of the Kansas State University basketball team for an early morning incident in Manhattan.
Just before 2a.m. Sunday, police arrested 22-year-old Naeqwan Tommy Nicholas Tomlin of Manhattan at Tubby's Sports Bar, 1127 Moro Street in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department arrest report. Tomlin is a senior member of the K-State basketball team, according to the school's web site.
Tomlin was held on a $750.00 bond on requested charges of Disorderly conduct; Brawling or fighting. He posted bond and was released just before 5a.m., according to online jail records.
Police released no additional detail early Sunday.
