Milford Lake has begun the controlled winter draw down to lake elevation of 1141.40, which is 3 feet below the normal lake elevation of 1144.40.
The Corp is also providing water downstream to meet targets as Tuttle Creek is not releasing due to an outlet construction project that is scheduled to be complete in early March.
The Corps plans to lower the lake elevation slowly to keep enough water for downstream water quality all the way through March 1.
Releases will be adjusted when needed due to precipitation and freeze up.
Current release: 700 cfs
Inflow: 280 cfs
Lake elevation: 1144.45
