MANHATTAN - Around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 27th, Riley County Police officers were called to Sonic Drive-In on Anderson Avenue.
According to the Riley County Police Department, a 19-year-old and two 20-year-old women reported a 16-year-old male pointed a gun at them while in the parking lot at Sonic.
As officers arrived, the suspect ran from Sonic, across Westport Place to the parking lot of Walgreens, he then crossed Garden Way and was taken into custody in the parking lot of the Evergreen Apartments.
Officers arrested 16-year-old Cedric Swinson of Manhattan for three counts of aggravated assault and interference with LEO. Swinson was processed by North Central Kansas Juvenile Intake and released to a guardian.
