Snow is possible later this week

Posted Dec 01, 2020 3:16 PM

A weather system is expected to bring rain to parts of central and east central Kansas Wednesday afternoon. As temperatures fall below freezing, this rain should change over to snow through the evening hours. Minor accumulations of snow are forecast with amounts generally expected to be from a dusting to around 2 inches.

There could still be some adjustments to the track of the system changing the location and timing of the snow. But motorists should be prepared from some slick road conditions Wednesday night and Thursday morning should the snow fly. The weekend is shaping up to be quiet with seasonal temperatures.
