WABAUNSEE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Tuesday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Honda Pilot driven by Stephen D. Peters, 64, Paxico, was eastbound on Homestead Road one half mile east of Coneflower Road. The SUV traveled off the roadway to the left and struck a tree.
EMS transported Peters to St. Francis in Topeka. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
