RILEY COUNTY - The Riley County Transfer Station will close at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 15th and will remain closed through Tuesday, January 16th due to the extreme cold.
The Transfer Station plans to reopen on Wednesday, January 17th, if weather allows.
Public Works Assistant Director and Assistant County Engineer, Evan McMillan, has been contacting trash haulers to notify them of the closure.
