RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating an alleged phone scam.
Just after 3p.m. Monday, officers filed a report of theft by deception in the 2300 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Dara's Fast Lane reported an unknown subject called the store posing as a U.S. Marshall coercing the clerk into taking money to send to them.
