Nancy Womochil of Abilene, passsed away February 14, 2024.at Homestead of Abilene (formerly Abilene Place).

 Nancy was born October 1, 1943 in Abilene to Harold and Mildred Houlton. Nancy attended local schools.&nbsp; On April 29, 1962 Nancy married Larry Womochil, they later divorced. To this union two children were born, Diane Ferris (Steve) of Abilene and Mike Womochil (Kelly) of Abilene. Nancy worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses and worked for the Wilson’s the longest.

Nancy is survived by her children as well as her sister Linda Houlton of Des Moines Iowa and 17 grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Houlton, and sisters Thelma Knopp, Phyllis Fager, and Janice Kleinsorge.

Family visitation will be held at Martin Becker Carlson Funeral home Thursday evening February 22 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A memorial service for Nancy will be held February 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace United Church of Christ 8th and Buckeye in Abilene. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery south of Enterprise, KS.
